Canadian Championships

Each year, Softball Canada presents 10 Canadian Championships in various locations across the country. These Championships represent the pinnacle of many athletes' careers, as they compete for the title of National Champion.

Softball New Brunswick's NB Selects are the team chosen to attend Canadian Championships in the minor categories. 

Age categories include U15, U17, U19, U23, and Open for Women's Fast Pitch and U15, U17, U20, U23, and Open for Men's Fast Pitch. There is also a Men's and Women's category at the Slo-Pitch Canadian Championships. 

Adult Fast Pitch (Men's and Master Men's & Women's)

Adult fastpitch teams who wish to attend the 2025 Softball Canada Canadian Championships. Softball New Brunswick will be sending one (1) team per division.

Teams must be registered with Softball New Brunswick to be deemed eligible.

If more than one (1) team per division expresses interest in attending the Canadian Championships, a qualifying event will take place. Athletes must be in attendance (participate) in the qualifying event to be considered on the original roster. Teams will also be eligible for up to a maximum of three (3) pickups, and will follow the order of qualifier standings (1st place gets first pick, 2nd place gets second pick, and so on). Pickups must be made from a pool of registered members of Softball NB in good standing. 

  • Fastpitch Qualifiers 
    • The qualifying (winning) team (1st place) will receive a berth to attend the 2026 Softball Canada Canadian Championships.
    • Teams that finish 2nd place and 3rd place will attend the 2025 Eastern Canadian Softball Championships.
