Softball New Brunswick Inc., in partnership with Softball PEI and Softball NS has agreed to collaborate on sanctioning club tournaments during the playing season to ensure all provincial bodies are unified in regard to tournament standards.
What does this mean? By sanctioning club tournaments, provincial members can rest assured that their interests as a member of Softball New Brunswick Inc. are being looked after. To achieve sanctioning for a tournament, the host has to meet the standards set by Softball New Brunswick Inc. to ensure a quality event and safety protocols for all athletes involved while attending a sanctioned event.
Sanction requests are reviewed by Softball New Brunswick staff and are not official until approval is granted. Approval is not guaranteed and will depend on whether sufficient criteria is met by the applicant. Application are reviewed based on Softball New Brunswick priorities, umpire capacity, and criteria below.
