SNB is hiring 3 full time Provincial Programs Coordinator for the 2021 season!
- 2 Provincial Community Caravan Program Coordinators (35 hours/week)
- 1 Provincial Program Coordinator (Office Staff) (35 hours/week)
Length of contract – Up to 12 weeks
The Provincial Programs Coordinator reports to the Executive Director, and/or the Timbits Softball Coordinator. They are responsible for administering and delivery of all programs/initiatives for youth in all regions associated with Softball NB: The Timbits Softball Community Caravan Program, Special Olympics and Multi-Cultural Association initiatives. The Coordinator will consult with stakeholders that represent youth to determine their needs, and develop programs, activities, and events in response to those needs.
Responsibilities: Planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating all programs, activities and events. Administrative tasking/social media, ensuring coaches have adequate equipment, Timbits T-shirts and appropriate training. Responsible for communications regarding the Timbits Softball program, as well as Multi-Cultural and Special Olympics partnership. Coordinate sport demos at schools. The Provincial Program Coordinator will also be responsible for coordinating, attending and assisting at several Softball NB Provincial Championships. Bilingualism considered an asset.
The Provincial Coordinator (Office Staff) will be responsible for the booking of the Community Caravan program, Social Media Content Development, Registration Platform, and Criminal Record Checks
-Candidates must a recent high school graduate or a full-time university or college students returning to school in September 2021.
