Umpire Training / Certification

Love the game of softball? Stay involved in a meaningful, rewarding way by becoming an umpire!

Umpiring offers a flexible opportunity for anyone aged 12 and older to earn extra income, stay active, and be part of the game at every level. You’ll build confidence and sharpen decision-making skills while working alongside a supportive team of officials who share your passion for softball. Training and mentorship are provided, making this a great opportunity for both new officials and those with years of playing or coaching experience.

As an umpire, you’ll meet people from across New Brunswick and beyond, with opportunities to travel, officiate high-profile games, and advance to higher levels of competition. Whether you’re a student looking for a great part-time role, or an adult seeking a way to give back to the sport, umpiring offers a unique chance to make a lasting impact.

Most importantly, Softball New Brunswick umpires serve as role models, helping create a fair, positive, and enjoyable experience for athletes of all ages.

Step onto the field. Stay in the game. Become a Softball New Brunswick umpire.
