    At the recent Softball Canada Congress a proposal to implement a one-year trial of these two new rules was discussed at several workshops and unanimously approved at the Annual General Meeting. This trial will be effective January 1, 2018!

    Softball Canada has just announced the dates, locations and registration details for the 2018 Junior Women’s National Team Combines.

    All proceeds go towards funding Softball New Brunswick programs including: Scholarship Fund, Special Olympics Program, High Performance Athlete Development, Coaching Development, Slo-pitch Initiatives & Umpire Development.

Insurance & Registration

All teams MUST register and make payment on-line. Any teams that register by paper and cheque and do not submit the required excel roster spreadsheet will be charged a $50/roster administrative fee.

Late payment fees of $50 will be charged for registration post June 15th deadline.

What does this mean for you, the membership?

  • Registration can be done instantaneously, no need to mail, or email your forms to the TD or ED;
  • Payment will be made at the time of purchase (all major credit cards accepted);
  • Softball NB will be able to track membership and report clear and concise statistics to Softball Canada;
  • Bi-lingual online registration is available by choosing ‘French’ from the drop down menu at the top of the registration page;
  • Open 24hrs/day 7 days/week;
  • Service fees from Sports Engine will be charged to the customer upon submission.

What will I need to complete registration?

  • First: Download the SNB Team Registration Form (Excel) under “Forms”. Fill out the form accordingly and upload to Sports Engine when prompt. You will need all of you team information including:
    Athlete Name, Address, Date of Birth, Phone Number, Email Contact, Gender
    Coach Name, Address, Phone Number, Email Contact, NCCP #, Position with team
    Criminal Record Check (please note, this only applies to Minor Coaches).
  • You will have to follow the link to the Sports Engine registration page.
  • Create a Sports Engine user account, if you don’t already have one.
  • Provincial registration fees are not included with the Insurance and Registration. You must complete and pay in the 2018 Softball NB Provincial Registration to register for provincials.
