Softball New Brunswick (SNB) is currently seeking the services of 6 full-time Summer Students for the positions of Provincial Program Coordinators (8-12 week positions).
Job Description: The Provincial Programs Coordinators will report to the Executive Director, and the Timbits Softball Coordinator. They will be responsible for the administration and the delivery of all programs/initiatives for youth in all regions associated with Softball NB: The Timbits Softball Community Caravan Program, Special Olympics and Multi-Cultural Association initiatives. The Coordinators will consult with stakeholders that represent youth to determine their needs, and develop programs, activities, and events in response to those needs. Responsibilities: Planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating all programs, activities and events. Administrative tasking/social media, ensuring coaches have adequate equipment, Timbits T-shirts and appropriate training. Responsible for communications regarding the Timbits Softball program, as well as Multi-Cultural and Special Olympics partnership. Coordinate sport demos at schools, if applicable. The Provincial Program Coordinators will also be responsible for coordinating, attending and assisting at the 2022 U19 Women’s Canadian Championships, along with select Softball NB Provincial Championships. Bilingualism considered an asset.
