At the recent Softball Canada Congress a proposal to implement a one-year trial of these two new rules was discussed at several workshops and unanimously approved at the Annual General Meeting. This trial will be effective January 1, 2018!

SNB offers summer employment for students entering and/or continuing in post-secondary education. Students MUST also apply for Student Employment Experience Development (SEED) program which provides funding to create summer job opportunities for post-secondary students.
The Provincial Programs Assistant reports to the Provincial Programs Coordinator and/or the Learn to Play Coordinator. He/She will be responsible for assisting with the administering and delivery of all programs and initiatives for youth in all regions associated with Softball New Brunswick, in particular, the Learn to Play Program, Special Olympics and Multi-Cultural Association initiatives. The Provincial Programs Assistant, alongside of the Provincial Program Coordinator, will consult with stakeholders that represent youth to determine their needs and develop programs, activities and events in response to those needs. Bilingualism considered an asset. Experience playing softball is strongly encouraged.
Responsibilities: Planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating programs and events. Social Media, ensuring coaches have adequate equipment, LTP shirts and appropriate training. Responsible for communications regarding the LTP program, as well as Multi-Cultural and Special Olympics partnership Coordinate U10 Jamboree & LTP event.
